charge, but will not suffer any damage. The TIGER XTL should only be charged in non-hazardous
environments.
To charge your TIGER XTL, connect the Charge Cradle to the mains. A red light on the charger
indicates that it is ready. Place the TIGER XTL in the Charge Cradle so that the contacts on the TIGER
XTL are aligned with those in the cradle.
LED Colour
Meaning
RED
Power connected, not
charging.
AMBER
Instrument charging.
GREEN
Instrument fully charged.
The battery icon on the TIGER XTL will display the level of charge:
Battery empty
When the battery is nearly empty, the icon will flash for one minute before the
instrument shuts down.
Battery fully charged
Only use the Charge Cradle supplied with your TIGER XTL.
ION Science Ltd recommends keeping your TIGER XTL on charge at all times when
not in use, as batteries can lose power over time.
