ADJUSTMENT
The hose retention bar
- All of the IRRIMEC hose reels are supplied with a hose retention bar (fig.3) situated in the rear of
hose reel.
- A) Stopping the hosereel:
Hose retention bar
Stop bar
Stop lever
- The trolley
pushes the stop bar on
the hose retention bar
and, with
the help of the adjusting
screw, pushes
on the stop lever
that puts the gearbox
in neutral.

- B) Stopping the hosereel:
- The trolley check plate pushes
on the stop lever,
and the adjusting screw
puts the gearbox in neutral.

- Adjustment:
- Adjust the adjusting screw so that the
gearbox goes into neutral when the trolley
reaches the hose reel.
- Adjustment:
- While displacing the
check plate make sure
that it manipulates the
stop lever through
the adjusting screw.
- ATTENTION: Before any adjustment,
is essential that tube PET
isn’t in tension.

- Functions of the hose retention bar:
- a) Stopping the unit when the hose reel tube has completed winding
on the drum: in this case the hose retention bar is
activated by the trolley that engages its lower part.
- b) Disallowing the tube from leaving the drum because of an
incorrect wrap.
- c) Activating the turbine and compensation to vary
the speed of the drum.
