The test is performed as follows.
. Prior to all, remember that tests are demanding much current
from the mains supply; so, connect to a suitable supply plug,
rated 32 A for tests up to 2000 A and 63 A for higher currents.
NOTE: with a 16 A rated sockets, the over-current protection will
open at test start!
. Select the position 1 (all counter-clockwise) on the interposing
module IM2000selector.
. Connect the interposing module IM2000to the transformers, via
cables provided. NOTE: always connect ALL transformers: the
impedance of a not connected transformer does not allow the
current to flow.
. Connect the interposing module IM2000to the mains, with the
supply cable provided.
. Connect the interposing module IM2000supply socket to the test
set supply, with the connection cable provided.
