. Power-on the interposing module IM2000(the corresponding light
turns on).
. Power-on the test set.
. Connect the AUX CONTACT test set output to the corresponding
interposing module IM2000input. NOTE: if you connect AUX
CONTACT before powering on the test set, at test set power on
the interposing module IM2000breaker will close for a short time.
. (If you want to test the relay timing, connect the START test
set input to the corresponding interposing module IM2000output).
. Connect the CT secondary winding to the high AC current input
of T 3000 (or use the current metering clamp, see above).
. Select the CT test mode with the booster.
. (For time measurement, select the relay mode; then, program:
timer start External; auxiliary contact close).
. Input in the screen the nominal primary and secondary current. If
the current clamp is enabled, input the clamp’s ratio (1000 to 1 for
our option).
. Select also the number of turns around the generation
transformers: 3 with one transformer, 2 with 2 transformers, 2 (1)
with 4 transformers.
