Injection Nozzle
Opening Pressure and Spray Condition
Check
1. Use an injection nozzle tester to check the nozzle
opening pressure.
If the opening pressure is above or below the specified
value, the injection nozzle must be replaced or
adjusted.
Refer to “Adjustment of Injection Nozzle Opening
Pressure.”
Injection Nozzle Opening Pressure:
1st stage: 18.1 MPa (185 kg/cm
2
/ 2630 psi)
2nd stage: 22.1 MPa (225 kg/cm
2
/ 3200 psi)
WARNING:
Test fluid from the injection nozzle tester will spray
out of the injection nozzle under great pressure. It can
easily puncture a person’s skin.
Keep your hands away from the injection nozzle at all
times.
2. Check the spray condition.
If the spray condition is bad, the injection nozzle must
be replaced or reconditioned.

(2) Incorrect (Restrictions in orifice)
(3) Incorrect (Dripping)
