What to do if my Jandy AE-Ti Heat Pump displays HIGH REFRIGERANT PRESSURE?
    • J
      Jonathan Scott PhDAug 18, 2025
If your Jandy Heat Pump displays a HIGH REFRIGERANT PRESSURE error, first ensure the circulating pump is running and there are no water flow restrictions. Check that all valves are correctly positioned to allow proper water flow to the heat pump. Verify the filter and skimmers are clean and that the water level in the pool is adequate. If the heat pump hasn't been used for a while, try cycling it on and off up to three times. If the problem persists, it's best to call for service.

What to do if my Jandy AE-Ti displays LOW H2O FLOW?
    • C
      Cheryl JohnsonAug 21, 2025
If your Jandy Heat Pump displays a LOW H2O FLOW error, verify that the circulating pump is on and all necessary valves are in the correct positions. Make sure the filter and skimmers are clean, and check the water level in the pool. Temporarily turn off any fountains or waterfalls that bypass the heat pump's water inlet. If the problem continues, call for service.

Why is my Jandy AE-Ti Heat Pump running but not heating the water?
    • S
      Stephen WhiteheadAug 23, 2025
First, verify that cold air is blowing out of the top of the heat pump. If the heat pump has just been installed or the pool water has cooled significantly, run the heat pump continuously for 24-48 hours. If the heat pump has been in operation for some time, increase the circulating pump time or switch the control board to auto heat function. When heating a spa, make sure no air intake standpipes are open. If the heat pump still does not heat, call for service.

    • M
      Michelle ToddAug 26, 2025
If your Jandy Heat Pump won't start and the control board display is blank, the breaker or fuse may have tripped. Reset the breaker or check the fuse. If the heat pump still doesn't run, call for service.

Why is my Jandy AE-Ti leaking water?
    • A
      Aaron PattonAug 28, 2025
If your Jandy Heat Pump is leaking water, turn it off and then turn the circulating pump on for at least one hour to see if the leak stops. If the water leak stops, it's likely normal condensation. However, if the leak continues after the heat pump has been off for at least one hour, call for service, as there may be a heat exchanger or plumbing leak.

What to do if Jandy AE-Ti Heat Pump doesn't run/short cycles, displaying LOW REFRIGERANT PRESSURE?
    • M
      Matthew WilliamsSep 2, 2025
If your Jandy Heat Pump isn't running or is short cycling and the control board displays a LOW REFRIGERANT PRESSURE error, check that the fan is operating and air is coming out of the top of the heat pump while it's short cycling. If the heat pump does not run at all, call for service.

Why does my Jandy AE-Ti not run and display FAULT- HIGH REF PRESSURE?
    • P
      Paul BrooksSep 5, 2025
The 'FAULT- HIGH REF PRESSURE' message on your Jandy Heat Pump can appear if the circulating pump isn't running, there are water flow restrictions, or the valves aren't properly positioned for water flow. Ensure the filter and skimmers are clean, and check the water level in the pool. This may also occur if the heat pump hasn't been used for a while; try cycling it on and off up to three times to resolve the issue.
