The drop feed
dogs lever
is located
underneath

free arm
bed on the back
side of the
machine.

To
drop the feed
dogs,
push
the lever
in the
direction
of the arrow
as illustrated.
O
To raise
the feed
dogs,
push
the
lever in the
direction
of the
arrow as illustrated
and turn
the
handwheel
toward
you.
Feed dogs must
be up for
normalsewing.

Dropped
Drop the
feed dogs.
Place fabric,
with the
hole in
the
center, on
an embroidery
hoop, as
snown.
Lower the
presser
foot
[Fl
and sew
at slow speed.
l\.4ove the
fabric back
and Jorth
slowly until
the
darning
area is covered.
Iurn the
fabric 1/4
turn
(90")
and sew another
layer
of stitching
over the first
layer.
After darning
is completed,
return
the
pres-
sure adjusting lever
to 3 for normal
sewing.
NOTE:
lf fabric is lhin
or badly
damaged,
place
a
separate
piece
of fabric
under the
hole to
reinforce it.
