Race and Feed Dogs
Unplug
the machine and remove the
presser
foot
and
needle. Remove the screw on
lhe left side of
the needle
plate
with a screwdriver.
Remove the
needle
plate

and
take out the bobbin.
O
Needle

Lift
up
the bobbin holder

and
remove it.

Bobbin

Brush out dust and
lint inside bobbin holder. Clean
the feed dogs

and
hook race
@
with a lint brush.
Wipe out
gently
with a soft,
dry cloth.

Line up
the triangle marks

and
position
the bob-
bin holder so
that the notch fits
next to the stopper

in the hook
race.

Oiling
the Machine
Open
the lace cover
and oil the two
points
as shown
at
leasl once a
year-
One
or two drops of oil
is
suificient.
Remove excess
oil, otherwise it may stain
fabrics. In case the machine
is not used lor an
e)dended
period,
oil il before sewing.
Use
quality
sewing
machine oil.
