Issue 1
Hydraulic Rams
Position the cylinder head and retainer underneath the
press.
Adjust so that the shaft centre of the press and retainer
are in line as shown.
Press-fit the wiper ring into the specified position in the
cylinder head.
Press fit until the retainer's collar contacts the cylinder
head.
The press load should be less than 1 tonne.
After the wiper ring press-fitting is completed, remove the
retainer from the cylinder head.
Check that the wiper ring is correctly in position.
