Throttle Control Assembly Adjustment
1 Insert the lever N into the axis of the throttle motor and
fix it with the retaining screw.
2 Bend the special spring into the shape for installing as
illustrated K. Install it to the lever N. Clip the end of the
spring to the 12mm dia. bar.
3 Insert the lever M into the axis of lever N, install the plain
washer L and fix with the axis snap ring P.
4 Install the ball joint and the adjustment rod C to the
control cable as illustrated.
5 Fix the two ends of the control cable D to the engine
side and the the lever M of the throttle motor.
6 Turn the throttle motor to the full throttle side. Install the
control cable assembly fixing nut. When the control lever
matches the stopper bolt on the full throttle side.
7 When the starter switch is on, move the throttle dial
from min to max two or three times, stop the throttle
switch in the max position. Confirm that the control lever
on the engine side is properly matched with the stopper
bolt. If not, rotate the adjusting rod, when matched,
screw the adjusting rod an extra two rotations from this
position.
8 Move the throttle dial again to confirm that the special
spring J will bend to the highest position.
