RIDE
To the state RIDE you will get from the state IDLE, the starter switches o after the pre-set time. The
LED ashes green fast. If you did not manage to start the combustion engine, pull the engine shut-o
key from the handle and repeat the procedure (the ICU will get to the state IDLE). We recommend
repeating the start maximum three times. (If you still did not manage to start the combustion engine,
it means that the engine either has run out of fuel or it is full of fuel or water (it is necessary to check
the engine and possibly clean it), the problem may also be in the timing sensor (spark control).
If the combustion engine is running, from the state RIDE you will get to the state IDLE by pulling the
engine shut-o key or you will get to the state FAULT if the voltage on the battery reaches the critical
minimum voltage (there is no usable power in the battery).
ENGINE CLEANING
The state of ENGINE CLEANING is activated anytime when the engine shut-o key is placed on the
ICU to the position of the wheel with the text MAG-
NET. The starter is switched on (ignition is o), the
LED ashes orange fast. This function is used for
removal of water or excess fuel from the engine or
for sucking fuel from the tank to the carburettor.
Cleaning is nished by removing of the engine
shut-o key from the ICU.
By placing the key on the cleaning position (the
wheel with the text MAGNET) will also force the ICU
to switch o immediately and it will then get to the
state POWER OFF.
FAULT
All the faults are signalled with the red ashing LED on the front of the ICU. To this state the ICU can
get either from the state:
- POWER OFF - the starting procedure was not followed (inserting of the engine shut-o key and
after the LED and bilge pump signalling, the key was not pulled out of the handle,
- POWER ON (ICU DIAGNOSTICS) – low voltage on the battery,
- POWER ON (ICU DIAGNOSTICS) blocked electric bilge pump, the fault is signalled but it is
possible to continue the ride, but the electric bilge pump will be switched o until the ICU restart,
- STARTER – during the combustion engine starting, there was a signicant decrease of voltage
in the battery,
- RIDE – during the ride there was a decrease of the battery voltage below the reversible mini-
mum value,
- IDLE (INITIAL STATE), the time limit of ve minutes from the moment when the key was last
inserted in the handle has elapsed.
If the engine shut-o key is pulled out, all the error codes are always signalled three times.
If the key is in the handle, signalling of the error code is repeated until the key is pulled out.

Course of signalling
Fault type/cause
When the engine shut-o key was inserted in the handle for the rst time, it stayed
in the handle for longer than 30 seconds.
How to repair it Pull the key out.
Course of signalling
Fault type/cause Low battery – it can be caused by a short circuit of the starter or at battery.
How to repair it
Charge the battery.
Starter replacement – if the batteries are charged and the starter turns slowly.

Fault type/cause
Fault of electric bilge pump – a short circuit of the pump has been detected but the
ignition works normally after that.
How to repair it Check the conductor to the pump, clean the pump or replace it.
Course of signalling
Fault type/cause
Fault of excessive use of the starter – there have been 10 starts without the engine
getting started, this signalling will last 2 minutes.
How to repair it Wait for 2 minutes.
Course of signalling
When the ignition control unit (ICU) is switched o, it switches o automatically after 5 minutes of idleness.
