Required tools: Allen key 2.5, 3, 4; LOCTITE 243 (blue); LOCTITE 638 (green); mounting spanner
MSR-X000038A (supplied by the manufacturer); Klueber Isoex LD18 Special A grease.
1) Remove the two screws holding the carbon engine cover – FIGURE 1. Remove the cover.
2) Unscrew the ground cable to the starter and the other screw holding the plastic clip with cables
going to the starter – FIGURE 2.
3) Arrest the large gear and unscrew the plastic cover on the main (large) gear, use the mounting
spanner MSR-X000038A – FIGURE 3.
4) Apply grease (Klueber Isoex LD18 Special A) in the unscrewed cover so that it lls the empty
volume of the cover - FIGURE 4.
5) Continue with the steps 3 to 1.
