Tighten locknut
After adjusting, should make sure the brake has no
brake drag.
Turn in
Free play is increased
Turn out
Free play is decreased
Note
Adjusting steps (handle side)
Loosen the locknut
Turn in or turn out the adjusting nut until it
reaches the defined free play.
Check front brake shoes
1. Check
Clock hand (wear indicating panel)
Clock hand has reached limited scale mark of the
wear indicating panel
Replace the brake shoes
Adjust (brake drum side)
Turn in or turn out the adjusting nut until it
reaches the defined free play
Turn in
Free play is decreased
Turn out
Free play is increased
