6.4.4 Optima Diagnosis
This Advanced Options function, available in
BALANCE WITH RUNOUT mode, shows additional
data and graphs relative to the wheel runout.
Runout Advanced Diagnosis
In the Menu of the OPTIMA DIAGNOSIS screen,
use the items listed below to access the Optima
Advanced Diagnosis graphs:

1: Radial Runout Diagnosis.
2:
Rim Radial/Lateral Runout Diagnosis.
3: Multiple Positions Runout Diagnosis.
4: Multiple Harmonics Runout Diagnosis.
Menù B
6: Go back to the OPTIMA ENTRY screen (Radial
Runout of the wheel).
7: Display the data of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd harmonic.
8: Radial Runout of the wheel on the left side.
9: Radial Runout of the wheel on the right side.
10: Lateral Runout of the wheel on the left side.
11: Lateral Runout on the right side of the wheel.
Note:
The print keys are available if the printer is
enabled.
Runout on Multiple Positions
Item 3 of the A Menu (fig. 6-47) allows access to the
Runout on Multiple Positions screen (fig. 6-48).
Displays the data of the Runout detected in portions
of the wheel, perpendicular to the axis.
Based on the width of the tyre, it is divided in various
parts, from 3 to 7, for which an independent analysis
of the Runout is available.
To enable the function access the “SETTINGS”
Screen and access the following:
OPTIMA Settings / Measure Wheel Runout in
Multiple Positions”,
set “Enable” and press ”ESC”.
