Operating Instructions—IFC-200 Operating Instructions 15
● If a smoke detector is selected for verification, its alarm is ignored
during the verification time.
● If an alarm from another point occurs while timing, the timer
deactivates and the alarm activates.
● If the verification timer times out and an alarm still exist, the alarm
performs all standard functions.
● If the verification timer times out and an alarm no longer exist, the
verification counter increments for this device, and returns to normal.
If an alarm exists from a monitor module point that has a Waterflow type
code, the ALARM SILENCE switch does not function.
Disabled input points do not cause an alarm or any control-by-event
activity. Disabled output points are held in the “Off” state. All disabled
points are treated as if they were in trouble, except that the status banner
reads DISABL.
