16 Operating Instructions—IFC-200 Operating Instructions
If the SLC is wired and programmed for Style 6 or Style 7, and a single
fault occurs, the IFC-200 detects the fault and drives both ends of the line,
fully recovering from the fault. The panel latches the trouble and displays
it until the SYSTEM RESET key is pressed. The display shows STYLE 6
trouble type. Style 7 requires use of the M500XJ modules (Figure 2).

Read Status functions do not require a password. The IFC-200 continues
to provide fire protection while in Read Status mode. Read Status may be
entered while in alarm or trouble. If a new alarm or trouble occurs during
Read Status, the Read Status function is aborted to prevent confusion.
