1. Press the ENTER key, and the LCD display shows:
1=PROGRAM
2=READ STATUS
2. Select 2=READ STATUS. The display shows:
READ POINT=*/#,AA,E
PRINT POINTS=1,E
READ HISTORY=2,E
PRINT HISTORY=3,E
To perform the READ POINT function, identify the first detector or
module number you wish to read. Then press (*) Detector key or (#)
Module key, followed by the Address (two numeric digits), followed by
Enter.
To PRINT POINTS, press the 1 key, then ENTER.
To READ HISTORY, press the 2 key, then ENTER.
To PRINT HISTORY, press the 3 key, then ENTER.
During this and all subsequent operations, except print operations, a two
minute timer is started. This timer returns you to the previous display if
no key is pressed. Each key press restarts the two minute timer. Pressing
the left cursor (backspace) deletes the previous entry. If there is no entry,
Read Status operation aborts and the LCD returns to the previous display.
Pressing the SYSTEM RESET key also aborts Read Status mode.
Read Point operations display point status on the LCD display, but not to
the printer or the history file. After a point is read, the down key may be
used to read the next point in the SLC address sequence, and the up key
used to read the prior point in sequence. The sequence of point display
follows this sequence: Detector address points 01-99, module points 01-99,
indicating appliance (bell) circuits 01-04, System parameters, and software
Zones 01-99. The procedure for selecting a point is described above in
Read Status Entry.
