4 Operating Instructions—IFC-200 Operating Instructions
The IFC-200 waits for the DRILL switch to be held for two seconds
(to prevent accidental activation), then turns on all silenceable circuits
(all M510CJ modules/indicating appliance (bell) circuits that are
programmed Silenceable) and turns off the ALARM SILENCE LED. It
sends a Manual Evacuate message to the LCD display (shown
below), LCD-80, printer, and history file.

SYSTEM RESET turns off all M510CJ modules and indicating appliance
(bell) circuits, breaks resettable power to 4-wire detectors, and sends an
All Systems Normal message to the LCD display, LCD-80, printer,
and history file. It also turns on all LEDs, piezo, and LCD display
segments as long as the SYSTEM RESET key is held, performing a lamp
test. Any alarm or trouble that exists after System Reset is performed will
resound the system.
The six LED indicators on the front panel operate as follows:
The green AC Power LED illuminates when 120 VAC power is applied to
the system.
The red Fire Alarm LED flashes when one or more alarms occur. It
illuminates steadily when ACKNOWLEDGE/STEP is pressed and turns
off when there are no longer any alarms on the system and RESET is
pressed.
The Yellow Prealarm Warning LED flashes when a prealarm threshold is
released. The LCD display indicates whether it is an alert or action
prealarm.
The yellow Supervisory LED flashes when one or more supervisory
conditions occur, such as a sprinkler valve tamper condition. It
illuminates steadily when ACKNOWLEDGE/STEP is pressed and turns
off when there are no longer any supervisory conditions on the system and
SYSTEM RESET is pressed. This indicator is used for security functions
in a combination fire/security protective signaling application. Refer to the
Combination Fire/Security Applications section of the IFC-200
Applications Technical Bulletin in this manual for more information.
