Centrifugal clutch
Dismantling
When dismantling the centrifugal clutch the chain brake
must be in the off position.
1. Remove the cylinder cover, chain and bar. See the
instruction book.
2. Remove the chain guide plate by unscrewing the bolt
(A). See fig. 1.
3. Remove the locking ring (B) with washer and lift up the
clutch drum (C) with needle bearing (D) and chain
drive sprocket (E). See fig. 2.
4. Remove the spark plug and fit the piston stop.
Remove the clutch with the clutch tool.
Note – left-hand thread. Screw in the direction of the
arrow as shown in fig. 3.
The following steps (5-6) describe the dismantling of
clutch hub.

5. Stretch out the springs with circlip pliers and press
them out from the clutch hub.
6. A complete clutch or springs are available as spare
parts.

The clutch springs must not opened more
than is necessary. Risk of deformation.
