13 Maintenance
The followingmaintenance should be completed.
The Tron TR30 is a sealedwaterproof radio,anddoes not contain any user
serviceable parts inside.
Thisradio must never be opened by anyone other than anauthorized Jotron
agent.Unauthorizeddisassembly will voidyour warranty.
If the radio is immersedinseawater,rinse it with freshwater immediately,otherwise,wash away dirt
andoil from the radio with warm water (no higher than45 degrees celsius) and milddish soap.
Finishby rinsing withfreshwater and drying.
Only washthe exterior of the radio.
13.1 Regular inspection
The lifetime of any equipment depends on how wellyou take care of it. The Tron TR30is
constructed to endure in a roughmaritime environment.Regular inspection is important to
detect error symptoms and prevent potentially serious problems.
