The emergency battery (orange) is a lithium battery. This battery is specially designedfor GMDSS
emergency useandcannot berecharged.Keep theemergency battery in thebattery storage
bay,thenit is easily accessible in a distress situation,
The emergency battery is asingle useitem. You must replace thebattery
before thebattery expiry dateand/or if the protective sealon the battery is
broken.
Always bringasealedemergency battery withthe radio whenboardinga
lifeboator raft.
