NOTE: One person must be available to li the switch while another person secures the switch
to the rack.
CAUTION: If you are mounng mulple units on a rack, mount the heaviest unit at the
boom of the rack, and then mount the other units from the boom of the rack to the
top in decreasing order of the weight of the units.
To mount an EX4400 switch on two posts of a rack:
1. Place the switch on a at, stable surface.
2. Wrap and fasten one end of the ESD wrist strap around your bare wrist, and connect the other end
of the strap to a site ESD point.
3. Aach the two-post mounng brackets (provided with the switch) to the side panels of the switch
chassis by using the screws to aach the brackets (provided with the switch).
To mount the switch ush with the posts:
a. Align the L-shaped (front) end of the mounng brackets ush with the front panel of the switch
chassis.
b. Insert the screws into the aligned holes on the chassis (see No Link Title). Tighten the screws.

To mount the switch along the middle of its side panels:
a. Align the L-shaped (front) end of the mounng brackets along the middle of the side panels.
b. Insert the screws into the aligned holes on the chassis (see No Link Title). Tighten the screws.
