While the RFID Connector utility loads, a progress bar is
displayed, then the main RFID Connector utility screen
appears as shown below:
Features you can set up and actions accessed from this screen:
Launch RFID Connector at startup - To launch the RFID
Connector utility when the Mesa is turned on, press the box
in front of this option.
Start RFID Connector minimized - To minimize the RFID
Connector utility when the Mesa is turned on or any time,
press the box in front of this option..
RFID Setup – Use the setup screens to congure the seings
of the RFID hardware and RFID Connector utility.
Power Down RFID and Exit – This function completely
shuts down the RFID reader. You may want to do this to
prevent accidental triggering of the reader. Otherwise,
we recommend that you leave it powered on. The RFID
is congured to enter a sleep state when it is inactive and
consumes about 8mW of power when it is in this state.
