MX10008 and MX10016 routers support both AC and DC power supplies. Additionally, MX10000 routers
also support high-voltage alternating current (HVAC) and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power
supplies. To connect power to a MX10008 router or a MX10016 router, refer to the following procedures:
NOTE: Do not mix power supply models in the same chassis in a running environment. DC and
HVDC can coexist in the same chassis during the hot swap of DC for HVDC.
