      Check if the switch on the cassette is set to “REC”. If it’s set to “SAVE”, change it to “REC”. Also, make sure that the Camera mode has been selected, indicated by the CAM indicator being lit. If the VTR indicator is lit, press the MODE switch upward to turn on the CAM indicator.
