Before preparing a beverage, you must always adjust the drip tray for the
spout to the selected beverage and cup size.

Insert the drip tray into the lower slot if extra large cups and glasses are
used.

The upper drip tray slot is intended for espresso beverages and for the use
of all small cups.
Four sharp needles are used to open
the capsules in the appliance. To avoid
injuries, do not reach into the capsule
insertion opening – risk of injury!
Before using the appliance
for the first time, remove the
protective film from the drip
grids (8 and 10).

Please note: To insert the drip tray into the selected slot, posi-
tion it at a slight angle from above, then push it in until it clicks
into place. When pulling out the drip tray, first lift it slightly and
then remove.
