Cookies
&Bars
We,ve never met anyone who didn't care for cookies.
Perhaps it's a throwback to our kindergarten days, when
we were rewarded with cookies and milk. If we were
really lucky, Mom had more cookies waiting for us when
we got home from school. Cookies are handy little treats.
Eat them on the run. Tuck them into a lunch box. Serve
them on a dessert platter. Give them as gifts.
There are more varieties of cookies than any other
baked product. Just imagine all the
flavorings that can be added to
basic ingredients. Plus,
cookies come in all sizes
shapes and colors.
Whether called
"cookies" by
Americans or
"biscuits" by
the English,
these small " :=
treats are a
revered dessert
form.
