Utilities
FieldFox utilities settings will not survive a shut down. When your FieldFox is
turned OFF, then back ON, these settings default to their factory settings.
How to view and change Utilities Settings
—Press System 7
—Then Utilities Opens the Utilities softkey menu.
Utilities Softkey Choices
Then choose one of the following:
— Mapping
– (Requires Option 352) opens a menu of softkeys that enables
the Indoor / Outdoor on–the–box mapping features. Refer to Chapter 15,
“On–the–Box Mapping – Option 352 (Requires Spectrum Analyzer Mode
(Option 233 on N991xB), GPS (Option 307) and GPS Receiver (Option
307)).”
— Phased Array Antenna
(PAA – Requires Option 360) - opens a menu of
softkeys that enables the PAA measurements. Refer to Chapter 13, “5G
Rapid Prototype Phased Array Antenna – Option 360.”
— USB Antennas
– opens a menu of softkeys that enables the triaxial antenna
feature, for use in EMF measurements. Refer to Chapter 14, “USB Antennas
– (Full Capability Requires EMF Option 358, and SA mode (Option 233
Mixed Analyzers)).”
— Freq Extnd
– opens a menu of softkeys that enables frequency extender
feature, for use with OML heads. Refer to “How to view and change the
Frequency Extender (Freq Extnd) Settings” on page 631.
For information on the Phase Array Antenna and USB antennas softkeys,
refer to Chapter 13, “5G Rapid Prototype Phased Array Antenna – Option
360.” and "USB Antennas" an Chapter 14.
IMPORTANT! The Frequency Extender (Freq Extnd) is only active (available)
when one of the following modes are enabled:
SA/RTSA/IQA/OTA/PAA/VSA (via the Remote Server feature).
