CV programming and readback accuracy
This test verifies that the constant voltage programming and readback accuracy
are within published specifications.
1 Turn off the instrument and connect a digital multimeter between the front
panel (red) and (black) output terminals (see Figure 1-10, “Test setup
for constant voltage programming and readback accuracy verification,” on
page 34).
2 Turn on the instrument. Press [Voltage] to select the constant voltage mode.
3 Output each value in the order shown below. Ensure that the appropriate
range is selected.
Record the output voltage reading on the digital multimeter. Compare the
measurement results to the appropriate test limits in Table 1-12.
CV load effect (load regulation)
This test measures the change in the output voltage resulting from a change in
the output current from full load to no load or vice versa.
1 Turn off the instrument and connect a digital multimeter between the front
panel (red) and (black) output terminals (see Figure 1-11, “Test setup
for constant voltage load and line regulation verification,” on page 34).
2 Turn on the instrument. Press [Voltage] to select the constant voltage mode.
