Parallel
connection

When
carrying out
parallel
operation, be sure to use
the load input
termi-
nals on the
rear panel. Do
not connect
other equipment to
the load input
terminals
on the front
pane!.
Use a short
load wire with
sufficient diameter
for the current for
connecting
the load input
terminals on the
rear panels of the
master and
slaves.
Use
load wires
with sufficient
diameter for the current as
well as
non-flam-
mable or
flame-resistant
cover. For a description of
the wire
diameter, see
section
2.8,
“Load
Wiring."
Connection and
setup
procedure

Check that
the
power
is
turned off.
Check that
the power to all
frames is turned
off.
If the
power is
turned on, press the
POWER
switch
to
turn off the
power.

Connect
the load input
terminals on
the rear panel of
each
channel.
Refer to Fig.
5-19
and be
sure to securely
connect the load
input terminals on
the
rear panels of
multiple
channels.

Check
that all the
channels are of
the same type.

Press the
ENTRY key
of the
channel you
wish to
make the
master.

Set the
number of units
in parallel.
To
enter the setting,
use the
configuration
settings. For
details, see
section 5.9,
“Configuration Settings."
The settings
are saved. If no
changes are
made, you do not
have to
save the set-
tings again.
