3.4.1 With the HLX+ Bridge (Sold Separately)
The HLX+ Bridge allows the batteries to coordinate their heaters beyond a single string or 4 or 4
single batteries in parallel. If you are using the HLX+ Bridge with your bank of HLX+ batteries,
then you can use the maximum configuration of 4 parallel strings of 4 batteries in series, even if
the installation location will go below freezing.
3.4.2 Without the HLX+ Bridge
If you are not using the HLX+ Bridge, and the installation location will stay above freezing (32°F
(0°C), then the HLX+ batteries can be wired together up to 4 parallel strings of 4 batteries each.
The KiloVault HLX+ BRIDGE is used with HLX+ series batteries. The KiloVault HLX+ BRIDGE
is integrated with smart touch screen, management control board, interface ports, and Blue-
tooth. Through CAN/RS485 communication, it can monitor, manage and control The KiloVault
HLX+ series batteries. In multiple battery series-parallel battery bank, there are monitoring,
protection and data checking functions, and can use the HLX+ BRIDGE to upgrade the bat-
tery rmware. It is commonly used in battery systems of residential storage, RV, Off grid and
Grid tied applications.
