9.4. Replace overpressure valve on high
performance condenser
 Vacuum pump system is switched off and mains plug is
removed from the socket
 Vacuum pump system is clean and free of hazardous materials
WARNING
Health hazard due to dangerous substances
in the vacuum pump system and pump!
Depending on the substance transferred, caustic
burns or poisoning are possible.

Wear protective clothing if necessary, e.g.
protective gloves.

Flush vacuum pump system before replacing
overpressure valve (see chapter
9.2.1, page 33).
1. Unscrew and remove hose nozzle which connects the high
performance condenser with the pressure side of the pump
from high performance condenser.
2. Detach the old overpressure valve from screw socket of high
performance condenser.
3. Slide on the new overpressure valve. Be aware that the
overpressure port is completely covered.
4. Reconnect high performance condenser with pump.
