The operator is required to verify input or re-input data as
indicated by the E100–199 series error messages and
perform the action specified by the E200–299 series error
messages and error code listings. Also, the operator is
required to contact the system administrator when the
E100–199 and E200–299 series error messages and error
code listings indicate that host control is required.
Furthermore, the operator is required to contact the system
administrator when an error message other than the
E100–199 and E200–299 series error messages are
displayed (E600–999).
When a “+” mark is displayed between the error code
number and the error message, an accompanying error
message or messages have also been generated; press the
+ (plus) key to display the accompanying error message(s).
NOTE: When an error message is displayed, depending
on the series of the error message, various keys
on the Control Panel are temporarily made invalid
for safety reasons. The Jog key, however, is
available at most times so that documents in the
transport system can be removed.
