Uninstalling the Printer and Printer Driver
IMPORTANT: You must have Administrator privileges to uninstall the
printer and printer driver.
WINDOWS XP
Operating System
1. Select Start>Printers and Faxes.
The Printers and Faxes dialog box appears.
2. Right-click the printer you want to remove, and select Delete.
3. Click Yes.
4. To remove the printer driver software:
•Select File>Server Properties.
•Select Drivers.
• Select the printer driver you want to remove, and click Remove.
• Click Yes.
• Click Close.
WINDOWS VISTA
Operating System
1. Select Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Printer.
The Printers dialog box appears.
2. Right-click the printer you want to remove, and select Delete.
3. Right-click the dialog and select Run as administrator>Server
Properties.
4. If the User Account Control dialog appears, click Continue.
5. To remove the printer driver software:
•Select Drivers.
• Select the printer driver you want to remove, and click Remove...
• Select “Remove driver and driver package”.
• Click OK.
• Click Yes.
• Click Delete.
• Click OK.
