Inserting/Removing Batteries

You must charge a battery before using it for the first time.
1 If the camera is on, check the PC
Card icon on the Back LCD
panel.
2 Turn off the camera.
3 Place your index finger on the
Battery/PC Card door switch
and press downward while
opening the door with your
thumb and finger.
IMPORTANT:
If the icon is blinking, wait until
it stops before continuing. (You
can lose data if you remove the
battery while the card is busy.)
