Using the Focus button
Mode For
Normal AF
(Auto Focus)
No icon Normal picture taking.
Infinity AF
Distant scenery or taking pictures through a window. (Turn off the
flash when taking pictures through glass.)
Macro Close-ups. For focus distances, see page 59.
Super Macro
Extreme close-ups. For focus distances, see page 59.
NOTE: You cannot zoom in Super Macro.
Press the Focus button to cycle through focus
modes. The current focus mode appears at the
bottom of the LCD.
IMPORTANT: Focus modes are not
available in all picture-taking modes,
such as Smart Capture.
