What to do if my Kodak i2900 Scanner will not scan/feed documents?
    • S
      Stephanie SmithAug 18, 2025
If your Kodak Scanner won't scan or feed documents, ensure the power cord is plugged in and the power is on, the green LED is lit, the scanner cover is completely closed, documents are making contact with the feed module and covering the paper present sensor, and documents meet specifications. For thicker documents, turn the gap release dial vertically. Also, check the feed module and separation roller for wear and replace if necessary. You can also try powering the scanner down and then up again.

What does U3 error mean on Kodak i2900 Scanner?
    • A
      Allison SchmidtAug 20, 2025
When U3 is displayed on the operator control panel of your Kodak Scanner, it means the document(s) you are trying to scan is too long. Verify that the Document Management: Maximum Length option on the Device-General tab (TWAIN Datasource) or the Longest Document option on the Scanner tab (ISIS Driver) is set to longer than the longest document being scanned. You can also try decreasing the resolution.
