NOTES:
• Operator assistance may be required for scanning documents greater
than 17 inches / 43.2 cm.
• It is recommended that you use a document extender if you are
scanning documents longer than 17 inches (43.2 cm). See “Supplies
and consumables” on page 39 for more information
• Adjusting the output tray for document length — if you are scanning
documents longer than 11 inches / 27.94 cm, open the document extender.
• Document weights — the input elevator is capable of holding the
approximate weight of 250 sheets of plain 20# bond paper.
NOTE: If you have an i3500 Scanner, the input elevator is capable of
holding the approximate weight of 300 sheets of plain 20# bond
paper.
