4.8.5 Battery
Perform battery storage last.
1. Press the OFF button on the generator set
controller.
2. Disconnect the battery, negative (–) lead first.
3. Clean the battery.
4. Place the battery in a warm, dry location.
5. Connect the battery to a float/equalize battery
charger, or charge the battery monthly using a
trickle charger. Follow the battery charger
manufacturer’s recommendations.
