Repair Applications
For repair applications, remove the drill guide
(E) from the drill guide socket (B) and clamp it
directly to the workpiece.
When using the Standard drill guide (E)
separately in a repair application, remember
to set the drill-bit stop collar (H), and rmly
secure the drill guide (E) to the workpiece with
a bar clamp, C-clamp, or Kreg face clamp. In
situations where using a clamp is not possible,
you may screw the drill guide (E) directly to the
workpiece, as shown.
Additional Features
Vacuum Port
This chip-collection attachment snaps into place on
the back of the drill guide socket (B). The port accepts
a standard 1-1/4 in. (32 mm) vacuum hose. In addition
to helping keep your work area clean, efcient chip
removal speeds drilling time and reduces heat build-
up, extending the life of your drill bit (G).
