Safety Precautions

WARNING Before using a power tool with this product, read, and follow the tool manufacturer’s

WARNING Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust,
a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a

WARNING Always wear personal protective equipment certied as such, including safety
glasses, hearing protection, and respiratory protection. When using a power tool, always follow
the manufacturer’s personal protection equipment requirements.
■ Drill bits are sharp and can become hot during use. Always use caution when handling drill
bits to avoid chance of serious injury.
■ Dress properly, do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away
from moving parts. Failure to do so can result in clothing, hair, or jewelry becoming caught in
moving parts and serious injury.
■ Do not allow familiarity gained from frequent use of your tools to replace safe work practices.
A moment of carelessness is sufcient to cause severe injury.
■ Avoid awkward hand positions where a sudden slip could cause contact with the rotating bit.
■ Always hold jig securely against workpiece while drilling holes.
