1. Fit all connecting lines and check that they function properly.
5.12 Fitting the protective equipment
WARNING
Failure to re-install or re-activate protective devices
Risk of injury from moving parts or escaping fluid!
As soon as the work is completed, re-install and/or re-activate any safety-
relevant and protective devices.
WARNING
Distributor casing and bearing housing take on the same temperature as the fluid
handled.
Risk of burns!
Insulate the distributor casing.
Fit protective equipment.
CAUTION
Heat build-up in the bearing housing
Damage to the bearing!
Never insulate the bearing housing and bearing cover.
1. Fit all protective equipment, such as guards, monitoring devices, etc.
5.13 Installation checklist

Steps Work required Done:
1 The supplied pump (set) and accessories have been checked for
completeness and transport damage.
2 The condition and dimensions of the foundation have been
verified against the general arrangement drawing.
3 The sole plate has been roughly aligned by means of levelling
screws/shims.
4 The foundation bolts have been inserted into the sole plate.
5 The can has been roughly aligned.
6 The foundation bolts have been set in concrete.
7 The concrete has set.
8 The pump set components have been aligned.
9 The foundation bolts have been tightened.
10 The sole plate has been grouted with concrete.
11 The drive has been mounted.
