6. As soon as the grouting compound has set, re-check the tightening torque of the
nuts at the foundation bolts with a torque wrench. Tightening torques, see
general arrangement drawing.
5.5 Lowering the pump
5.5.1 Lowering the pump into the can
DANGER
Improper installation in potentially explosive atmospheres
Explosion hazard!
Damage to the pump set!
Comply with the applicable local explosion protection regulations.
Observe the information in the data sheet and on the name plates of pump and
motor.
WARNING
Improper transport
Risk of personal injury from lifting heavy components!
The load could slip out of the suspension arrangement!
Select lifting accessories which are suitable for the component weight.
Always use the attachment points provided for the lifting accessories.
Secure the load appropriately.
Comply with the applicable health and safety regulations.
WARNING
People falling into the unsecured can
Risk of personal injury!
Take suitable precautions during the entire installation/dismantling process to
protect people from falling into the open can.
Fence off the work area appropriately.
WARNING
Improper handling when setting the pump set down in a vertical/horizontal position
Personal injury and damage to property!
Use appropriate means to secure the pump set against overturning, tipping over
and rolling off.
Maintain adequate safety distance during lifting operations (load may swing
when being lifted).
Use additional supports for the transport holder to secure the pump set against
overturning.
Suitably dimensioned hoisting tackle is available.
The sole plate and can have been prepared for the pump to be mounted.
The preservation of the pump has been removed, if required.
