7.7.6 Final assembly and installation
If the pump body had to be replaced, install the pump in the can:
1. Standard installation depth: (

2. Large installation depth: (⇨ Section 5.5.2 Page 29)
3. Mounting the motor: (⇨ Section 5.6 Page 31)
7.7.7 Fitting the protective equipment
WARNING
Failure to re-install or re-activate protective devices
Risk of injury from moving parts or escaping fluid!
▷ As soon as the work is completed, re-install and/or re-activate any safety-
relevant and protective devices.
WARNING
Distributor casing and bearing housing take on the same temperature as the fluid
handled.
Risk of burns!
▷ Insulate the distributor casing.
▷ Fit protective equipment.
CAUTION
Heat build-up in the bearing housing
Damage to the bearing!
▷ Never insulate the bearing housing and bearing cover.
1. Fit all protective equipment, such as guards, monitoring devices, etc.

Always quote the following data when ordering replacement or spare parts:

▪ Seal code
▪ KSB order number
▪ Order item number
▪ Consecutive number
