Position the headlight mask and fix it with rubber straps


The holding lugs engage.

Position the brake line and wiring harness. Put the clamp on and mount and
tighten screw


Finishing work
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 100)
15.7 Changing the headlight bulb
Note
Damage to reflector Reduced brightness.
– Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease
before mounting.
Preparatory work
– Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 98)

Main work
–
Turn protection cap

together with the underlying bulb socket counterclockwise
all the way and remove it.
–
Pull lamp socket

of the parking light out of the reflector.

Pull out headlight bulb

.
– Insert the new headlight bulb.
Headlight (HS1 / socket BX43t) ( p. 125)
– Insert the protection cap with the bulb socket into the reflector and turn it clock-
wise all the way.

Ensure that the O-ring

is seated properly.
– Insert the lamp socket of the parking light into the reflector.
Finishing work
– Refit the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 98)
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 100)

Note
