11.20 Mounting the seat

Hook the seat onto screw 1 and lower the seat at the rear while pushing it forward.
Projection 2 hooks into the fuel tank.

11.21 Removing the air filter x
Note
Engine failureUnfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.

Environmental hazardHazardous substances cause environmental damage.
Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.
Preparatory work
Remove the seat. ( p. 34)

Main work
Press the rear holding lugs 1 together slightly and swing the air filter box cover
upward. Pull out the front holding lug and take off the air filter box cover.
Take off the air filter.

Position the clean air filter.
Position the rear holding lug. Lower the air filter box cover and allow the front hold-
ing lug 1 to snap in.

If the air filter is not correctly mounted, dust and dirt can enter the engine
and cause damage.
Finishing work
Mount the seat. ( p. 35)
