[3] CYLINDER MEAD AND VALVES
Nozzle Holder Assembly
1. Loosen the screws on the pipe clamps.
2. Remove the injection pipes.
3. Remove the fuel overflow pipes.
4. Loosen the lock nuts, and remove the nozzle holder assemblies.
5. Remove the copper gaskets on the seats.
6. Remove the nozzle heat seal. (See page S-83.)

Cylinder Head Cover
1. Remove the head cover cap nuts.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover (1).
(When reassembling)
Check to see if the cylinder head cover gasket is not defective.

Rocker Arm and Push Rod
1. Remove the rocker arm bracket mountingnuts.
2. Detach the rocker arm as a unit.
3. Remove the push rods.
IMPORTANT
After reassembling the rocker arm, be sure to adjust the
valve clearance.
(When reassembling)
When putting the push rods onto the tappets, check to see if
(1) Rocker Arm Assembly (2) PushRod
their ends are properly engaged with the grooves.
