Remove the external snap ring.

Remove the idle gear

When installing the idle gear, be sure to align the

Remove the
oil
pan mounting screws.
2.
Remove the oil pan by lightly tapping the rim
of
the pan with a
wooden hammer.
3.
Remove the oil strainer
(1).
(When reassembling)
Apply a liquid gasket (Three Bond
1215
or equivalent) to both

To
avoid uneven tightening, tighten mounting screws in diagonal
After cleaning the oil strainer, install
it.
Install the oil strainer
(I),
using care not
to
damage the O-ring.
