[6] CHECK POINTS OF EVERY 400 HOURS
Replacing Fuel Filter Cartridge (Cartridge Type)
Water and dust in fuel are collected in the filter cartridge. So,
change the filter cartridge every 400 hours service.
1. Remove the used filter cartridge with filter wrench.
2. Apply a thin film of fuel to the surface of new filter cartridge gasket
before screwing on.
3. Then tighten enough by hand.
4. Loosen the air vent plug to let the air out.
5. Start engine and check for fuel leakage.

Replacing Fuel Filter Element (Element Type)
1. Close the fuel cock (3).
2. Unscrew the retaining ring (6) and remove the filter cup (5), and
rinse the inside with kerosene.
3. Replace the filter element (4).
4. Reassemble the fuel filter, keeping out dust and dirt.
5. Bleed the fuel system.
