3.1IntendedUse
Thewheelchairisintendedtoprovidemobilitytopersons
limitedtoasittingposition,whoarepropellingthe
wheelchairthemselvesmostofthetime.
Theintendeduseristhewheelchairoccupantand/oran
assistant.Theusershouldphysicallyandmentallybeableto
usethewheelchairsafely(e.g.topropel,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairisintendedforpersons,ages12andup
(adolescentsandadults).Theweightofthewheelchair
occupantshouldnotexceedthemaximumuserweightas
statedintheTechnicalDatasectionandontheidentication
label.
Thewheelchairisnotintendedforabusiveorexcessive
activities,suchassports,thatarenotpartoftheintended
(daily)use.
Thewheelchairmaybeusedindoorsandoutdoorsonlevel
groundandaccessibleterrain.
Indications
•Considerabletocompleteimpairmentofmobilitydue
tostructuraland/orfunctionaldamagetothelower
extremities.
•Sufcientstrengthandgrippingfunctionofarmsand
handstopropelthewheelchair.
Therearenocontraindicationsknown,whenusingthe
wheelchairasintended.
